The Gilchrist County Legislative Delegation will be holding its annual public hearing on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Gilchrist County Commission Meeting Facility located at 210 S. Main Street in Trenton, Florida.

State Senator Clay Yarborough and State Representative Dean Black announce that the Organizational Meeting to elect the 2024 Delegation Chair and Vice Chair and the general legislative public hearing will be Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners Chamber, James Page Government Complex, located at 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097.

The following announcement is a notification of the Seminole County Legislative Delegation meeting. The Delegation will hear testimony from local government agencies and the public on statewide issues of concern and will consider any local bills brought before the Delegation. This meeting will be held on Monday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Seminole County Commission Chambers, and is free and open to the public. The Lee County Legislative Delegation will convene for its annual public meeting on Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 9:00 AM and adjourn no later than 12:00 PM. The purpose of the Delegation Meeting is to hear from the public and conduct local business, including a public hearing on any local bills placed on the agenda.

The Delegation Meeting will be held in Fort Myers at Florida Southwestern State College, 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers, 33919, in the Nursing Building, Room AA-177, the same room in which we have held the Delegation Meeting for the past many years.

Should you wish to make a general presentation at the Delegation Meeting, the deadline to submit said request is 5:00 PM on Monday, October 16th, 2023. This annual public meeting is an opportunity for citizens, elected officials, local governments, and other organizations to address the Delegation before the start of the 2024 Legislative Session.

If you would like to be placed on the printed agenda please complete and return the attached Presenter’s Information Form by 5:00 p.m. on Monday November 13th, 2023. If you are unable to return the form electronically, you may mail it to 3436 Marinatown Lane Suite 6, North Fort Myers, Florida 33903 to be received on or before the aforementioned date.
