Axe Compute, a Nasdaq-listed provider of GPU computing capacity, is moving its headquarters from Pittsburgh to Miami. The company announced the relocation on October 29 and chose an office on Brickell Avenue as its new base.
Axe Compute trades under the ticker AGPU. It rents dedicated GPU capacity to enterprises and AI developers, and it describes its mission as making AI compute accessible to all.
CEO Christopher Miglino explained the choice. The company said Miami offers proximity to strategic partners, investors and global business relationships. Miglino also said the city's tax treatment for corporations and individuals helps the company attract and retain talent.
Axe Compute has changed form before. It took its current name in a December 2025 filing, and it was previously called Predictive Oncology, according to Data Center Dynamics. That outlet also reported a $1.5 billion, five-year compute contract with an unnamed customer, under which the company would own and operate the cluster serving it.
The Florida Angle
The new headquarters will sit on Brickell Avenue in Miami. Hut 8 is also headquartered on that avenue.
The company's announcement does not say how many employees will work in the Miami office. It also does not say where Axe Compute will place its hardware. Any local hiring or equipment would come in a separate announcement.
