Guardare, Inc., maker of an AI-powered Exposure Assessment Platform, announced on October 19 an oversubscribed $5.6 million follow-on funding round. Total funding now stands at $10.7 million, building on a $5.1 million seed round announced in June 2025.

Album VC and Ten Eleven Ventures returned as investors. New backers are Tampa Bay Ventures, DeepWork Capital and the Florida Opportunity Fund. The money will support product development, customer growth and expansion of operations in Florida.

The platform brings together the separate views of users, devices, applications and cloud environments. It looks for misconfigurations, missing protections and combinations of weaknesses that could enable an attack. It also identifies underused capabilities and overlapping tools that can drive unnecessary costs.

Why it matters for Florida

The Florida Opportunity Fund and Tampa Bay Ventures both joined this round, and the company says it is expanding its operations in the state. Matt Swanson, interim executive director of the Florida Opportunity Fund, said he is proud that Guardare decided to scale in Florida and build a company aimed at protecting organizations across the state and beyond.
